This poster displays the different values (colours, brightness, contour etc) of a range of faces.
By displaying this raw data in a picture that characterises and illuminates otherwise hidden features,

it generates an emergent logo that can be used as a personal brand identity.

The outcome can be unexpected as well as revealing.

HOW IT WORKS:

By stepping in front of the camera, using camera tracking, the code records the values of faces. This layer of data developes a specific pattern, but the outcome can be varied generatively, by selecting values of code.

From these patterns, I intended to design personal brand identities for each of my classmates/faculty, and combined with their names in many experiments.
In general, the brand identity process is very fixed and clear. In this sense, this approach provides a new and different angle to design brand identity.
